Dogfish Head is excited to share that craft beer CAN fans CAN enjoy SeaQuench Ale, Flesh & Blood IPA, and 60 Minute IPA in CANS! These off-centered ales are the perfect partners to take with you when you head out on your summer adventures. Grab some cans, create your trail and explore the goodness in your neighborhood, your city or around the country. You CAN take it with you!

Dogfish Head cans include

  • SeaQuench Ale(ABV: 4.9, IBU: 10) This refreshing session sour is brewed with lime peel, black lime and sea salt; in fact,Men's Healthnamed it the most thirst-slaying beer ever brewed by Dogfish Head and Editor's Pickfor best low-calorie beer(at only 140 calories, 9 carbs). In collaboration with the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Dogfish Head replicated sea salt from both Maine and the Chesapeake Bay for its refreshing, slightly tart characteristic, and then incorporated it into this refreshing ale.
  • Flesh & Blood IPA (ABV: 7.5, IBU: 45) This honest to goodness IPA is brewed with a bevy of real citrus including orange peel, lemon flesh and blood orange juice. Flesh & Blood IPA balances the hoppy characteristics of an American IPA with the explosive zesty fruitiness and subtle tartness of citrus to deliver an incredibly unique off-centered ale that can be enjoyed all year round. Over two decades ago, Dogfish Head established itself as a leading pioneer in the evolution of the fruit India Pale Ale arena when the brewery became the first to package and distribute fruit IPAs nationally beginning with Aprihop.
  • 60 Minute IPA (ABV: 6.0, IBU: 60) No stranger to IPA fans, Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with more than 60 hop additions over the entire boil to create a powerful yet balanced East Coast blend with a ton of citrusy hop character. Inspired by a cooking segment he saw in the late 90's where a chef added little increments of pepper over an extended period to enhance flavor, Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione turned to a vibrating magnetic football game to create a system that would continuously add hop pellets during the entire time a beer boiled. While the brewing technology has greatly evolved since those early days, the innovation and passion behind the creation of 60 Minute IPA shines through with every delicious sip.

This summer, Dogfish Head will partner with Atlas Obscura, an online definitive guide to the world's wonderful and curious places, to curate Dogfish Head Off-Centered Ale Trails across the country. Craft beer fans and adventurous pathfinders can use these trails to explore obscure, off-centered spots inspired by 60 Minute IPA, Flesh & Blood IPA and SeaQuench Ale.

Dogfish Head also joined up with Untappd, an app that allows users to socially share and explore the world of beer with friends and the world. In July and August, Untappd users who check in any of the Ale Trail featured beers SeaQuench Ale, Flesh & Blood IPA and 60 Minute IPA three times will earn a level for each check in, and on the third check-in, will earn the Ale Trail badge!

Cans are the perfect companion for outdoor adventure and exploration and Dogfish packs a boatload of flavor into each 12oz serving. Bonfires on the beach, outdoor crab boils, BBQ's, golf-outings and summer parties just got a lot more off-centered as the portable, compact cans are the ideal brew for the outdoor dog(fish) days of summer. The man behind the can, Sam Calagione, founded Dogfish Head in 1995, and has worked tirelessly since then to keep gastronomic innovation at the forefront of the brewing process. Consistently committed to using all natural, fresh culinary ingredients to create its unique flavors, the Delaware brewery draws inspiration from remarkably off-centered places.

"Dogfish Head was founded on our belief in crafting compelling, unique ales using the world's finest and freshest brewing ingredients," said Calagione, 2017 James Beard award winner for Most Outstanding Beer, Wine, or Spirits Professional in the U.S. "Since the very beginning, our entire team has been committed to culinary complexity, which is why this year's James Beard award for our company meant so much."
